A download entry concerns the transferred or saved package. It may display rounded units. Use its completed state and source as part of the file check, without treating size as proof of authenticity.
The installed app
Android may separate the app, data and cache in its storage view. These categories can change during use. A larger installed total does not by itself mean the downloaded APK was wrong or that the app secretly updated.
Choose the right response
For insufficient space, review the device's actual warning and recognised files. Do not clear account data simply to make the total match a listing. For a suspicious file difference, return to source and version checks instead.
